The Chef Series begins.  Join Chef Sunpreet Singh Kanda of Atelier Nara for an intimate evening at Saffron & Salt: six courses, prepared in front of you, with the stories and techniques behind each plate.

Punjabi roots, Nova Scotia ingredients, one long table. 

Bring someone you like or meet some friends along the way. 

Beverages and all necessary supplies will be provided. Full service dinner.

Intimate group – maximum 12 guests.

Oyster
Nova Scotia oyster, cucumber, cumin lassi

Tuna
Tuna tartare, radish, mint chutney

Scallop
Seared Digby scallop, Madras curry, papadum

Beetroot
Roasted beetroot, black cardamom, sabayon

Short Rib
Laal maas beef short rib, roast potato, cauliflower purée, tadka

Jaggery
Warm jaggery caramel, Annapolis Valley apple, cardamom cream

About Your Chef  - Sunpreet Singh Kanda

Sunpreet is a Nova Scotia-based chef, author and recipe developer with global experience.

He has worked at world-class institutions including Vij’s Restaurant in Vancouver, Hawksworth Restaurant in Vancouver, Crème Café in Halifax and Asia Restaurant in Halifax. He has a vast and varied array of skills and passions.
