Are strawberries your jam?

Join Ama Riviere in a Hands-On Workshop walking you through the Essentials of Jam Making. 

Ama will guide you through the art and science of making your very own preserves to capture the abundance of summer fruits safely and with confidence!

Participants will leave the class with:

·        TWO jars of your very own seasonal jams (made in class)

·        The recipes, knowledge and confidence to do it again at home!

All necessary supplies will be provided.

Small group format – maximum 10 participants.

Suitable for beginner through intermediate cooks.

  • Please let us know about any allergies/dietary restrictions in advance.
  • Please let us know if you have any physical requirements or limitations in advance of your arrival to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible.
  • As our chefs source their ingredients well in advance of the workshops, all class sales are final - no refunds or transfers to other dates are possible. If you are unable to attend the class that you booked, you are welcome to send someone else in your place. Please let us know so that we can welcome them into the class properly!

 

About Your Instructor

Ama started her business, “The Trading Post”, to follow a passion for the craft of preservation. She specializes in jams, jellies, and pickles which she sells at the Brewery Market.

When Ama is not working in her kitchen, you’ll most likely find her knitting or cuddling with her cat. 

Ama is warm, approachable, and excited to share her knowledge on making jams with us for this exciting new session!
