Master the most important tool in your kitchen and cut prep time with this workshop!

Join best-selling local cookbook author and trained chef Christine Flynn as she walks you through the basic types of knives, knife care, and knife handling.

You will learn to work confidently with chefs’ knives and paring knives as she helps you master slicing, dicing, mincing, julienning, chiffonading, and chopping.

Participants can use our 8” chefs’ knives or bring their favourite knives from home.

Christine will also talk about some of her favourite tools to use instead of her knife - shortcuts used in professional kitchens that can easily be adapted to home use.
This is a great class to come with questions! Want to know the best way to cut a pineapple? Mince chives? Chances are Christine has the answer!
Small group - attendance is capped at 10 participants to ensure personalized instruction and expert guidance.
While you practice your knife techniques you'll prepare and enjoy a hearty piece of Bruschetta and Citrus and Fennel Salad!

Beverages and all necessary supplies will be provided.
