Join best-selling local cookbook author and trained chef Christine Flynn for a taste of Italy... east coast style!

Try her take on classics like melon salad with local burrata and market greens, get the secret to a perfect meatball, and indulge in Rome's iconic doughnut, a honey and cream filled maritozzi!  

With bold flavours and thoughtful tips and tricks, this class has something for everyone! 

In this hands on class you’ll be preparing and eating:

Melon Salad with Prosciutto, Burrata and Pistachios

Meatballs with Pecorino and Polenta

Maritozzi

It’s perfect for a date night, a solo evening out, or a night out with friends.

Beverages and all necessary supplies will be provided. Sit down at the end of your class to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage.

Small group format – maximum 10 participants.

As our chefs source their ingredients well in advance of the workshops, all class sales are final – no refunds or transfers for other dates. If you unable to make the class that you booked, please let us know in advance so that we can welcome your replacement properly.

Hand-On Class – Start to finish hands-on learning. Suitable for beginner through intermediate home cooks.

About Your Chef  - Christine Flynn

Christine is a Nova Scotia-based cookbook author, recipe developer, and content creator.

She graduated at the top of her class from the French Culinary Institute in Manhattan and has worked in kitchens from Burgundy to Nantucket.

She has written three cookbooks – A Generous Meal, How to Eat With One Hand, and Easy Does It. Her third cookbook, Easy Does It, features simple recipes with big personality, flavour, and style.

She has shared her knowledge and love of food with countless students and friends, and we are thrilled to have her join us for this amazing workshop!
